Religious Education
RE is an important part of our school's curriculum. The 'SACRE' scheme is followed from year 1 to year 6 as agreed by Liverpool Local Authority.
In EYFS children learn about and celebrate a variety of religious festivals.
Throughout the school children learn about Christianity through bible stories, bible teachings and studying sacraments and their importance to Christians.
They also learn about other religions, including Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, Buddhism and Islam through looking at their teachings and celebrations.
Children in our school are encouraged to be respectful towards all religions. We are looking forward to celebrating 'Multi Faith Week' this summer.
So far this year we have celebrated Diwali week, Easter and Chinese New Year, take a look at some of our fantastic work.
