Attendance
It is important your child is in school as much as possible in order to reach their full potential, however if your child is in any way ill then they should not be in school. You must inform the school immediately if your child is absent.
Things to bring to school
* Water bottle, which must go home each day
* Spare clothes in case of accidents (to be left in school)
*Warm, waterproof coat/ jacket
* Wellington Boots
ALL CLOTHING AND BELONGINGS MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED
We kindly ask families to keep encouraging the children to dress independently at home.
Things to practice at home:
(Remember to keep the learning fun, writing in unusual places, counting when out and about.)
*Recognising own name
*Writing name independently using the correct letter formation
*Orally segmenting and blending simple three letter words, b-a-t,
c-a-p
* Counting to 20 forwards and backwards, starting from a variety of points
* Recognising the numbers 1 - 10
Forest School
All children in EYFS have access to Forest School sessions. Throughout the year children get the chance to spend time exploring and learning about the natural environment while developing new skills. We will be taking part in lots of fun activities including; den building, using tools safely and outdoor art!
