Our PTFA (Parent Teachers and Families Association) was set up in 2017 with two purposes. The first was to provide more opportunities for families to get together socially and to organise events to strengthen our school community.
The second was to raise money for additional projects and resources in school.
New members are always welcome- even if you can only spare a little time, helpers at events are always needed and greatly appreciated.
Please contact the school office and leave a message for Charlie Orton or Jo Grover who are the main organisers or Andrea Nelson (EYFS and Parental Involvement Lead) who is the main staff contact for the PTFA. They will get back to you as soon as they can.
Our School PTFA is still alive and well and ready to refocus on our mission to raise funds that directly enrich our children's experience in school.
In 2019 we launched the school lottery, a national scheme where each ticket sold automatically generates an element of funding for the school. We currently have 28 tickets sold and this has raised £582.40 over the last year, our goal is to reach 50 tickets which would raise £1040.00 per year.
There would be a winning cash prize every week from our own community ticket holders and you would be placed into a national draw to win £25,000. There are often additional prizes each term. Tickets are £1 each and the prize money increases with the number of tickets sold.
Our goal is to increase our sales from 28 to at least 50 tickets sold. If you would like to support the PTFA fundraising effort by buying a school lottery ticket please go to this link:
With thanks from the PTFA Chair: Charlie Orton (mum of 2 boys in Year 1 and Year 5).
