Modern Foreign Languages
Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 learn French.
All Modern Foreign Language sessions focus on learning to speak the language through games, songs and actions. Year 6 are beginning to write simple sentences and key words in French. At the end of the Year 6 children take part in a speaking assessment.
As well as learning the language the children also learn about the country and its culture.
