Welcome to Year 1's Class Page!

Staff: Miss Hill and Mrs Carter

Hello to wonderful Year 1,

My name is Miss Hill and I am already feeling so lucky to be your teacher this year. We are going to have a year full of excitement, fun and adventure!

I hope you are all having a fantastic Summer break and I cannot wait to hear about all the fun things you've been up to!

Stay safe and I look forward to meeting you all very soon smiley

If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate contact me via email - misshill@bellevaleprimary.co.uk

Attendance

Good attendance is paramount in order for your child to have the best school experience and reach their full potential. With this in mind, please ensure your child attends school as much as possible to avoid them missing any of our exciting lessons and activities this year.

However if your child is in any way ill or showing any symptoms of COVID-19, then they should not be in school. You must inform the school immediately if your child or anyone in the household has COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive.

Uniforms and Belongings

All children need to wear full school uniform everyday.

Children may only bring a coat and water bottle to school - school bags are not allowed at present.

Water bottles will be taken home every day for cleaning.

Lunches and Fruit

As the new term begins, dinner times will be staggered and the dining room will be cleaned between different Bubbles.

PE

The children will be doing PE on Wednesdays with a PE coach and another day (TBC) with myself. Please ensure your child has their full PE kit in school and that all items are clearly labelled.

Hygiene

Children will be expected to wash their hands regularly throughout the school day for at least 20 seconds, including in the morning as they first enter the classroom. Please show your children how to wash their hands effectively and ensure they are aware of the importance of hand hygiene.
