Headteacher's Letter-18th January 2021

Dear Pupils, Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to be writing to you as the new Headteacher of Belle Vale Primary School. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to thank you for your cooperation, patience and support you have shown over the past weeks. Although I understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, I want to reassure you that at Belle Vale Primary School we are working hard to ensure that we continue to provide a high standard of educational experiences for all pupils, through our remote learning programme. All links to online resources can be found on our website, on the Home Page under the drop down menu -Children. Our programme consists of:

  • Class Pages with Weekly Timetables which contain links to remote learning lessons
  • Links to Seesaw - our online Learning Platform where work is shared
  • Videos from class teachers
  • The First News newspapers with their corresponding activities
  • A Home Learning page with links to a range of resources
  • A Kid’s Zone page with links to educational games
  • Learning packs provided by class teachers for every class (collected from school)
  • CGP Workbooks for English and Maths for Years 1-6 (collected from school)

Please inform the school if you are having difficulty accessing any of this provision.

Finally, I would like to encourage all of the children at Belle Vale Primary School (from Nursery to Year 6) to write a letter to me introducing yourselves. I would love to hear from you all. Please take a photograph of your letter and post it on your class page on Seesaw.

I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you all in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs R Lancaster
